Grandmother tagged for selling goldfish to teenager wins battle to get sentence overturned

A grandmother tagged for selling a goldfish to a teenager today won her legal battle to have the electronic shackle removed.

Joan Higgins, 66, declared the ruling 'a victory for common sense' and pledged to celebrate her freedom with a visit to the bingo with her sister.
She is also looking forward to going to see her favourite star Rod Stewart in concert, which her curfew would have made her miss. Read more...
