Coalition government: take cover for the £3,000 tax bombshell

Telegraph- Middle-income families could be more than £3,000 a year worse off under the new coalition Government, The Sunday Telegraph can reveal.

Figures from accountancy firm BDO show that a family earning £50,000 a year could lose more than £2,000 annually through increases in VAT and capital gains tax and if pensions tax relief at 40pc for higher-rate taxpayers is removed. more
